Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider operating that tool. Jasper County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own system. A provider's policy controls data after the query reaches that service.
If you email us or send a contact message, we keep the message and reply details as needed to respond. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Automatic Technical Data
Normal server, analytics, and advertising systems may receive technical information during a page visit:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent;
- referring page, when supplied; and
- request dates and timestamps.
Cookies help measure site use and support certain services. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although some features may then work differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected data may be used to operate the site, improve speed, route a query to the selected partner, understand which pages help visitors, diagnose errors, and display advertising that may reflect general interests. These uses support site operation and do not turn this private site into a government records custodian.
Links and Advertising
Pages link to Jasper County release sources, Missouri corrections services, government portals, and outside search tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's own privacy terms apply. Some advertising partners may measure activity across websites to select ads. That processing occurs on their systems, not as a Jasper County government function.
Who May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may still be processed by search partners handling a submitted query, analytics services measuring traffic, advertising networks delivering ads, and law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order.
Security Practices
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used to protect information under our control. No website, network, or storage system can be guaranteed breach-proof, so absolute security is not promised.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Contact us through the Contacts page if a minor submitted information so a deletion request can be reviewed.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law, a visitor may ask for a copy of personal data held by this site, seek correction of inaccurate data, request deletion, or object to certain processing. A request may require enough information to verify the requester and locate the data. Missouri's Sunshine Law governs official public records held by government agencies; it does not make this private site's operational data a county record.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as site practices or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when it is posted with an updated effective date.
